hi! just got back from NTUC.
hee, the trip to the market was very eventful.
see, Mummy told me to go buy maggi and fishballs.
so, my left arm was supporting the maggi while i looked at the fishballs.
i was trying to decide which brand to buy wen suddenly this girl went all "assalamu'alaikum kak..."
girl: *puts out hand* *says something about selling bookmarks for $2 to help the poor*
me: *looks at fishballs in hand* *looks at girl's hand* *looks at fishballs* *looks at her hand* umm... the money's not mine.......
lol. awkward situation! i only realised she wanted to salam me 5 mins later...
there's more. after i left NTUC i saw the same girl, or rather someone who looks like her, or maybe the same clothes confused me... she too said more or less the same thing. i was kind of speechless and was turning from NTUC to her to NTUC back to her, blabbering wordlessly like an idiot, and she probably sensed my confusion so she said "oh, dah eh....?? tkpe tkpe.."

last night was pretty much eventful, too.
was going somewhere in my Aunt's car along with my mum, bro and grandma when one of the tyres punctured...
on the highway.
we were like damsels in distress, lol!
tried changing tyres. it was really hard loosening the screw-things that held the tyre to the car.
in the end we called a tow truck. >.>
i didn't see it, though, because my uncle came along and everyone except my aunt drove off, while she waited for the tow truck.
turned out that the tyre wasn't really punctured, just deflated.
went to takashimaya to look for my uncle's bride-to-be's shoes.
took AGES. all that time. all those overpriced footwear!
seriously. i doubt i'll ever want to pay over $300 just for a pair of shoes...!
some of the workers there were pretty cocky, too.
like when it was almost closing time and i was looking at a pair of overpriced sunglasses and this woman said to me "we're closing... now."
with a really cocky voice and cocky tone and, well, you can imagine.
so i said "yeah yeah i know."
would've yelled at her if mum wasn't calling me.
grrrrrrrrrrrr.
after that we went to simpang bedok to eat.
there was a clothes shop there, the Geylang Serai type that sells muslimah clothes.
in the end the girls bought a piece each.
ehehee, about time i added something to my wardrobe. it's been ages since i bought clothes.
speaking of which, i need new jeans.....
ok now we'll jump to this morning when i woke up to the sound of really, really, REALLY loud drilling.
turns out they were hacking the staircase right outside our house.
it was soo loud, that my ears were throbbing whenever they paused.
it went on for about a couple of hours and i knew i had to go out if i didn't want to get permanent ear damage.
dad was bothered, too. so he brought me and bro to go eat outside.
then, just to kill time we went to Mount Faber.
it's a really nice place, and it was my first time going there. i'm thinking it's a nice place to have our next class outing. =)
ok-kay! mum's not in a good mood and she'll prolly blow her top if i don't clean the mess that's my room.

i get the wierdest dreams.
like this morning, i dreamt that i was back in the primary 1 class of the old school building.
and that i fell asleep- get this: i dreamt of falling asleep!- and when i woke up i saw that everyone's gone to the science lab for chem 45 minutes ago.
there was a clock. so i somehow knew it was 45 minutes ago.
so.. yeah, i was searching around for my chem stuff only to find that i didn't bring my textbook.
and then all of a suden i'm back at this scene that happened last year on my visit to the dentist.
where i asked him to let me stay, at least until geo was over.
cuz i didn't bring the book.
ahh.. good times, good times.
ooh boy do i have alot to say about yesterday.
alamaaaaaaaak. frus seyyyyy.
but let's go to the beginning of the story so you'll get a clear picture.
had tuition before the excursion. so i asked Rash and Mai and Zqah to eat with me at the coffeeshop nearby.
ahaa. chicken rice.
ok. that has nothing to do with me being frustrated by the time i got home.
-well- my gay partner kinda fainted on the way down the slope at snow city.
the place was so cold i couldn't even talk properly. ha!
so anyway, i got reeeeaaally worried.
and the guys-in-charge (is that what you call them??) were all crwoding aroun her.
then one of them asked if he could carry her.
then Farah was all "takpe takpe..... darurat"

then Lili just HAD to throw snow on my face.
ouch. okay, that hurt. ALOT.
but i kept telling myself to 'let it go, zaf.... just let it go.....'
because i was practically freezing my butt off and i HAD to get outta there.
after that the omni-theatre show was really short.
when it ended we were all "huh?? so fast??"
but by the time it was over it was already almost 6.
went to masjid Al-Mujahidin in the pouring rain.
my socks were so wet they couldn't get any wetter.
i had half a mind to join the others when they decided to go eat after that, even though i was out of cash.
but then i remembered that american idol's gonna be on and ended up asking some ladies there for directions to the interchange .
went back with Naze and Qaqa.
didn't stop bugging naze with the phony-gameshow-host impersonation that kinda caught on after the umbrella thing Qaqa did.

"and.... 14 more stops to go!!"
ehh. you get the idea.
and now we get to the "alamaaak. frus seyyy" part.
got home to find that grandma had a couple of guests.
these two makciks talking about how awesome this company is or whatever.
the irritating part was when i found out that they had prayed in MY room.
MY messy upside down room.
and they weren't even MY guests, dammit!
grandma didn't even spare me a couple of ounces of shame, i'll give it that.
i mean, can't they pray in HER room?!
they're HER guests, aren't they??!?!?!
oh yeah. i'm still reeeeaaally mad.
oh well. dad's taking bro to watch Horton today.
he asked me, but i said no cuz i haven't prepared for next week's tests.
and i can't study tomorrow, i'm going shopping. yay!!
well.. shopping for someone else's stuffs, but i love shopping, so whatever. =DD
OMG! David Archuletta forgot the lyrics!!!
but,, whatever. he looked so cute in that outfit last night.
makes me wanna squeeze his face. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. >.<
me and mum went gaga over Jason Castro.
well, mostly me.

mum kept saying that Carly and David cook were proffesionals.
yeah, i think so too.
andd, we made a pact to call one of my uncles DD Cook because they look so much alike.

SO. PATD
did do a Killer Queen cover.
but then people are saying that they're not as good as Queen,

omg. the other day on the way back from school i saw a
squished frog.
like
, ran-over-by-a-bike squished.
it took a few seconds for the revolt to swell up my throat and finally escape in the form of an ear-splitting screech.
kinda made the others
jump..i think there was Zeeqa and Dal and 2 other people...
Career Awareness turned out to be quite what i expcted.
it was kinda hard not to sleep during the opening and closing ceremony.
omg. KK Seet isn't the only buyers on The Arena.
i mean,

oh well. -sigh- what's done is done.
i actually felt nervous for the debaters!
i keep complaining about how many tests i have..
Fiqh, Hadith, Qur'an, Tafsir, Faraidh, Chem, Bio...
but i heven't actually done much......
heck, and there're only 5 days left!!
